Vieillir en beauté, c'est vieillir avec son coeur;
Sans remord, sans regret, sans regarder l'heure;
Aller de l'avant, arrêter d'avoir peur;
Car, à chaque âge, se rattache un bonheur.
Vieillir en beauté, c'est vieillir avec son corps;
Le garder sain en dedans, beau en dehors.
Ne jamais abdiquer devant un effort.
L'âge n'a rien à voir avec la mort.
Vieillir en beauté, c'est donner un coup de pouce
À ceux qui se sentent perdus dans la brousse,
Qui ne croient plus que la vie peut être douce
Et qu'il y a toujours quelqu'un à la rescousse.
Vieillir en beauté, c'est vieillir positivement.
Ne pas pleurer sur ses souvenirs d'antan.
Être fier d'avoir les cheveux blancs,
Car, pour être heureux, on a encore le temps.
Vieillir en beauté, c'est vieillir avec amour,
Savoir donner sans rien attendre en retour;
Car, où que l'on soit, à l'aube du jour,
Il y a quelqu'un à qui dire bonjour.
Vieillir en beauté, c'est vieillir avec espoir;
Être content de soi en se couchant le soir.
Et lorsque viendra le point de non-recevoir,
Se dire qu'au fond, ce n'est qu'un au revoir.

Sống đẹp tuổi già là sống với con tim;
Không hối hận, tiếc nuối, canh đồng hồ lo lắng;
Hướng về tương lai, không còn lo sợ ;
Vì ở mỗi tuổi đời một niềm hạnh phúc đang chờ.
Sống đẹp tuổi già, là giữ gìn thể chất;
Bên trong lành mạnh, đừng mất vẻ đẹp bên ngoài.
Gặp khó khăn không bao giờ bỏ cuộc.
Tuổi tác và giờ chết đâu bắt buộc theo nhau.
Sống đẹp tuổi già, là ra tay nâng đỡ
Kẻ thấy mình như lạc lõng trong rừng sâu,
Không còn tin cuộc đời còn tình nhân ái,
Và không còn hy vọng ai cứu vớt phận mình.
Sống đẹp tuổi già, là lạc quan tin tưởng.
Không khóc thương những kỷ niệm xa xăm.
Tự hào mái đầu bạc không còn xanh,
Vì, để hưởng hạnh phúc, đời vẫn còn dành năm tháng.
Sống đẹp tuổi già, là già với tình yêu,
Biết cho đi mà chẳng mong nhận được bao nhiêu;
Vì, dù ở đâu, lúc rạng đông ngày mới,
Luôn có người đi tới, cho ta chào chúc một ngày vui.
Sống đẹp tuổi già, là già trong hy vọng
Lòng mình an vui khi nằm xuống lúc đêm về.
Và tới ngày lúc tất cả qua đi,
Lòng nhủ thầm, buồn chi, hẹn ngày tái ngộ.

Aging gracefully
Aging gracefully is, in one’s heart, to feel great ;
Without remorse, without clock-watching, without regrets;
Keep going forward, stop being afraid ;
Because, to every age, a happiness is related.
Aging gracefully is to age with one’s body ;
Keep it beautiful outside, inside healthy .
Never surrender to life difficulties,
Age and death are completely different stories.
Aging gracefully, is to give a boost
To those who feel they’re lost in the bush,
Who no longer believe life can be trusted,
And there’s always help for those who bite the dust..
Aging gracefully is to age positively .
Do not cry over yesteryear memories.
Of your white hair, proud you have to be,
Because, there is still time, for you to be happy..
Aging gracefully is to age with love,
To give, without expecting anything in return,
Because, at day’s dawn, wherever you go,
There is someone out there for you to say “Hello”.
Aging gracefully is hopeful aging;
To feel content lying down in the evening.
And when comes the moment for leaving,
Say to yourself, truly, there’ll be a second time for everything.
